Garrett Marx is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Solutions Plumbing Specialist, a San Diego–based plumbing firm built on craftsmanship, accountability, and long-term relationships. A third-generation construction professional, Garrett brings more than two decades of hands-on field experience, having risen through the ranks as a superintendent before founding the company and building it from the ground up.

Known for his deep industry knowledge and strong local relationships, Garrett is highly trusted by top builders, developers, and trade partners throughout San Diego. His leadership is rooted in operational excellence, integrity, and a commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality work on every project.

Beyond the business, Garrett is a devoted husband and father to eight-year-old twins. His vision for Solutions Plumbing Specialist is to build a company that not only sets the standard for service and professionalism, but also creates stability, opportunity, and pride for the people and families it supports.

Jessica Marx is the COO of Solutions Plumbing Specialist. She brings an in-depth background of strategic business development and operational excellence. Jessica oversees operational strategy, financial performance, and organizational design while leading the evolution of the company’s client experience and internal culture. She is responsible for creating consistent, high-touch service standards, strengthening team leadership, and implementing processes that empower employees to perform at a high level. Her work ensures that both clients and team members experience a business built on excellence, accountability, and care.

This role performs work in a craftsman like manner that is required for the construction and installation of plumbing systems and components for residential new constructions and remodeling. Must hold skills specializing in relocation of both water and waste lines, brazing copper, pex experience and tools, abs, galvanized. Plumber must be proficient in both water and waste repipe, ability to work with slabs and sub floors. All plumbing relocation is a must to include setting shower valves & drains. This is for residential home remodeling and all plumbing needs associated with home with the service sector. Attention to detail is required. Ability to manage and lead apprentice plumbers. Great communication skills and response time. This role will be a working Foreman with room to grow into Superintendent role over the next 3 years as we expand the business.

Journeyman

The Journeyman Plumber performs work in a craftsman like manner that is required for the construction and installation of plumbing systems and components for residential new constructions and remodeling.
